About Courtroom Experience
Do you love murder mysteries? If the answer is yes, then a visit to the Courtroom Experience in Bodmin is a must for you.
In 1844, Matthew Weeks was accused of murdering his girlfriend Charlotte Dymond. But was he guilty? That’s where you come in. Watch the re-enactment, listen to the evidence and act as a member of the jury. At the end of the trial you must vote; Guilty or not guilty!
The experience is led by a knowledgeable guide; takes place in one of the very courtrooms and includes a visit to the spooky holding cells. You can also find out more about crime and punishment through the years and about more cases that took place at this building like Mrs Hearn and the poisonous salmon sandwiches!!
The Courtroom Experience is open all year round with sessions from 11am and hourly throughout the day.
