Margaret and Alan Short welcome you to holiday with us in our lovely stone built 18th century farmhouse with a complimentary cream tea on arrival. We have two guest bedrooms both with ensuite facilities one double and one family with bunk beds awarded 4 star quality guest accommodation by Visit England. Visitors can enjoy the dinning room with separate tables for each room wood burning fire and furniture to compliment our farmhouse. There is a separate lounge with open fire large flat screen TV and board games. After a busy day exploring the area relax in the conservatory/garden room which overlooks the traditional stone built farm buildings and garden. The farmhouse is fully centrally heated. Visitors can see at first hand a working family farm with beef cattle sheep and a small suckler herd. The area around the farm has a special appeal through its local history and the unspoilt beauty of its natural landscape. We are trying to maintain this beauty and the environment by supporting wildlife and using local produce. We have a commitment to energy efficiency waste and water conservation. There is an abundance of wildlife around the farm including rabbits ducks moorhens badgers and deer. The trees are covered with lichen which is a sign of clean unpolluted air. Flag irises marsh marigolds and primroses grow in profusion. Visit in April or May to see the bluebell woods and country lanes filled with spring flowers.
