The Old Malt House in Looe is listed with the AA as a three star Bed and Breakfast and is situated in West Looe just at the bottom of West Looe Hill in close proximity to the harbour and the various pubs and restaurants that are situated on the harbour front. East Looe is just a short walk away across the historically famous bridge or ferry ride in season where you will find numerous shops restaurants bistro's and pubs and of course a lovely sandy beach. Many people stop in Looe on their way around the costal path and there are some lovely walks and secluded coves to be discovered just around the corner. Looe also has excellent transport links with its own railway station and easy access to Plymouth by bus or car. The Old Malt House was built in 1650 and is a grade II listed building. It is situated just off West Looe Town Square where there are other buildings of similar age and older for example The Jolly Sailor pub which is on the Looe heritage trail.
