Set amidst a wooded valley with a tranquil stream running alongside it, Provender House is the quintessential detached country house, the original mill stone now forms the doorstep and the pretty garden is edged by the stream. A short walk through woods to the beach is highly recommended. The pretty village of Veryan, which sits on the edge of the Roseland Peninsula is minutes away and offers a wonderful local pub serving local ales and food, a gallery and a shop. Along the peninsula visitors can find many beaches including Pendower and Carne, considered to be amongst the prettiest in Cornwall. There are also fishing villages with the day’s catch which guests can buy for that special meal or simple barbecue on the beach.
