PLEASE NOTE: We are a small Bed & Breakfast style establishment we are NOT a 5star hotel! although we strive to make everyones stay an enjoyable one some people are set on booking into a B&B and expecting 5 Star treatment! The Seven Stars is the original birthplace of St Austell Brewery and is where Walter Hicks opened his first pub back in 1863. Located centrally in St Austell it is just a few minutes walk from the train station and shops. It is a popular watering hole for both St Austell's inhabitants and visitors to the area who find a pleasant respite from the town's bustling centre. Whether you're looking for the perfect venue for a night out or simply somewhere to stop and relax before heading off to the shops or one of the many tourist attractions in the area such as The Eden Project or The Lost Gardens Of Heligan (both just a short drive away) The Seven Stars has something for you. The Seven Stars is now run by Stuart who have created a vibrant and fun environment to be in yet still maintain all the traditional pub values. Since taking over Stuart has re-decorated the pub entirely with tasteful neutral colours yet have still retained some of the beautiful original features such as the ornate Victorian fireplace. The pub also now has a big flat screen TV complete with a full Sky package for all of the big sporting events. They have also spent a vast amount of time and effort refurbishing all of the guest accommodation. As well as a selection of award winning ales (such as St Austell Brewerys 'Tribute' and 'Tinners') and spirits The Seven Stars also offers a tempting selection of meals and light bites served from lunchtime through to the evening where you can find delights such as homemade chips (peeled and chopped to order) and other delicious home cooked mains. The Seven Stars welcomes all children and dogs included. (Free water and doggy biscuits available for all of your four legged friends!)
