You will receive a warm welcome at 'Chy Coth'. This means 'old house' in Cornish. Our traditional Cornish cottage was built in the mid 1800's. Accommodation is provided in well appointed rooms. One bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room and we have a twin room with zip-and-link beds which convert to a large double - this room has a private bathroom. There is also a single bedroom with private bathroom. All rooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. .Parking is at the front and side of house in a quiet road and there is a lovely cottage garden to sit in.There is a guest lounge with 42" HD TV, available at all times. We have won awards for our breakfasts so you will be set up for your day exploring the area. On chilly nights relax by the log burner in guests' TV lounge.' Hayle is close to Penzance/St Michael's Mount and all of the Lands End Peninsula. You can visit St Ives using the nearby Lelant park-and-ride without all the hassle of parking in St Ives and enjoy one of the prettiest train rides in England. There are good bus links to all areas. Hayle has a fantastic sandy beach and you can walk to Gwithian and Godrevy Point which overlooks the lighthouse and is well known for birdwatching and you may be lucky and see seals and dolphins on your walk.
