The Surf is a delightful detached stone-built single-storey barn conversion, one of a cluster of fifteen, in an enviable elevated location taking full advantage of the glorious views across the valley and surrounding countryside. The owners live on-site, and the holiday property is close to the sandy beach of Portreath, which is popular with surfers and families and it has a small inner harbour, two pubs, bakery, shop and post office, with easy access to the coastal paths. The area is known for its cycle trail along the old tram line, running from Portreath on the north coast to Devoran on the south coast. Nearby Porthtowan has a pretty sandy beach nestled in the sheltered valley with a popular beach café and bar which provides regular live music and great food. Tehidy Golf and Country Park with 250 acres of woodland, cycle trails, bridle pathways, lakes and wildlife is just minutes away.
