Rowan Retreat was formally a barn which has been tastefully converted into two cosy cottages keeping many of its original features including stonewalls and wooden beams, and is set in the quiet Cornish village of Lanreath. The cottage sleeps two people and is a fabulous base from which to explore Cornwall, and it benefits from upside down accommodation with the ground floor occupying a double bedroom with a flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, as well as a shower room. Head upstairs to the first floor which presents an open plan living room and kitchen, where the sitting area has a flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, so you can relax and unwind with beautiful views to the countryside.

From Lanreath, just 5 miles away is the popular fishing port of Looe where there are many boat trips from shark fishing to leisure trips, or you can just amble around the quiet streets where there are many shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. Also nearby is the village of Polperro with its very narrow streets where you must park the car and walk, or catch the tram, through the narrow streets of shops, restaurants and cafés down to the harbour.
