Reviews of - The Barrow, St Blazey

"Fantastic, well maintained property
We wanted somewhere to stay near the Eden project and after having our touring caravan for years we were unsure about what to expect! John and Sheena (the owners) have thought about pretty much everything. The Barrow is well maintained and presented. It has your own parking space at the front of the property and a lovely little patio to the rear. It is open plan living with bedrooms downstairs. Toilet on both floors. (see photos) The property is situated about a mile from The Eden Project but is a good place to visit surrounding areas. We visited Newquay, Polperro, Padstow, Charlestown, St Mawes, Mevagissey, Falmouth and Looe to name a few. There are loads of places to visit, just a short drive away. When we plan on visiting this area again we will definitely book here again."

"We found treasure!
My partner and I decided for a change to spend some holiday time in the UK and saw this property on line. The pictures on line only just do the property justice. This is a lovely place to spend time - even if you don't wish to see the local attractions! The property is immaculately kept and is well equipped. If the weather is kind you have your own patio as well. Well presented and lovingly kept we would recommend this property without reservation. The couple who run and own this property (one of four in a row) could not do enough for us. Close to Charlestown (which is lovely), Fowey and the Eden project but also easy by car to get to other areas such as Looe and Lanhydrock - even St.Michael's Mount is only an hour away by the excellent roads."

The Barrow is a lovely conversion, with all we could need. A warm welcome and a friendly and accommodating owner. Well equipped, clean and comfortable property. Property ideally located for visiting nearby places of interest. An interesting circular walk passes the door and takes you through woods, past leats, wheel pits and across a viaduct."
